Sportlight: Cheltenham Festival
In March, the world of horse racing turns its attention to Cheltenham. For one week, all eyes in the equestrian community focus on the #1 global jumps meeting.
The Cheltenham Festival is held over four days at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire and produces an atmosphere like no other. Each day (Champion Day, Ladies Day, St Patrick’s Thursday & Gold Cup Day) features seven races, including the Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase, and Stayers’ Hurdle, before the main event on the Friday – the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
